Wine All You Want with Quadsimia on September 12th

Sep. 12, 2014 — The House of the Good Shepherd hosts the 9^th Annual Wine All You Want on Friday, September 12

Quadsimia LLC is sponsoring Wine All You Want from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, September 12 at the Fort Schuyler Club in Utica, NY. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness and funds for The House of the Good Shepherd. Last year, funds raised provided instrument lessons and musical theater classes for several children and helped maintain the Music and Art Departments at the Tilton School.

Featured stations at the event include a live auction with an opportunity to win a stay at a luxurious North Country Camp, a Chinese gift basket auction, food stations, beer tasting station, and Sommelier Johannes Neckermann, an international consultant on fine wines, will make learning about fine wines fun!

In February 2012, The House of the Good Shepherd received its Sanctuary Certification, of which there are less than 50 sanctuary-certified institutions in the world. The Sanctuary Model promotes safety and recovery from chronic stress and adversity by means of a trauma-informed organization. The House of the Good Shepherd focuses on "What happened to this child?" instead of "What's wrong with this child?" to intervene effectively in a traumatized child's life.
